I came to Austin in 1986 on a world tour with Charlie Sexton, opened the Austin Rehearsal Complex (ARC) in 1990, and co-founded the SIMS Foundation in 1995. Merging an adeptness for connecting & assisting people with my passion for life in ATX, I obtained a real estate license in 2003. In the 21 years since, it has been a privilege to assist and guide my clients through 2 of life’s key transitions—finding just the right home, and achieving the optimal outcome when it comes time to sell. I’ve closed $135,000,000+ in home sales by being a steadfast client advocate and a skilled negotiator. The trust I've earned by way of tenacity, innovation and hard work has helped forge lifelong friendships with many of my clients; and for that I am grateful.

There's a whole lotta music in my life. Tours & recordings include Billy Bragg, Joe Ely, Ian McLagan, Ronnie Lane, Charlie Sexton, Broken Homes, Storyville, Martha Davis (Motels), David Broza and Yonathan Geffen. I've performed live with Bruce Springsteen, Pete Townshend, Ronnie Wood, Alejandro Escovedo, Patty Griffin and Eliza Gilkyson. Career highlights include opening for the Rolling Stones during their "A Bigger Bang" Tour, performing on The Late Show with David Letterman, PBS’s Austin City Limits, and MTV’s New Year Eve Rock ‘n Roll Ball. I received the "Best Drummer" award at The Austin Music Awards in 2007.
